From 2022 to 2025 I was a developer, then CTO, at Hashguard, a Bordeaux startup that wanted to give people back ownership of their data. We encrypted each person’s files and stored them on a network nobody owned. The idea was right: your data is yours. But to keep it, you had to manage keys, wallets, a blockchain. Nobody wants that to run a company, and I ended up losing faith in it.

Synap, the system I built next, takes the opposite road. Instead of spreading your data out, it brings it together at your place: a server in your name, open-source software you can host yourself or leave with us. It is also the only serious way to put AI to work: it needs all your context, in one place, under your control.

The Architech came from there: I build each company its own system, on Synap, and I answer you myself.

What it costs

A fixed price for the setup, written in the proposal before we start. Then a monthly subscription covers hosting, updates and written support.

If you stop

Your system is yours. The software is open source and your data sits in a standard database. If you stop, we hand you the full export in open formats, or we move the server to you or to the host of your choice within two weeks: it keeps running without us.
